What to expect:

Jenny offers a welcoming, warm and safe space to explore what you would like support with.  She is genuinely interested in each person’s experience and has worked with a very wide range of people.  She believes that all of us have within us what we need, in order to grow more fully into who we are,and that times of having support to do this can be immensely beneficial.

Jenny offers a free 20 minute no obligation call to explore whether working together is the right thing. This can be done via zoom or telephone.

Hakomi: The premise of Hakomi is that most of us operate from limited and out of date ideas about ourselves. These ideas, or core beliefs are often unconscious and come out through our thinking and behaviours. These habitual and out of date patterns cause us to suffer.

Hakomi therapy helps us to bring awareness to these unconscious roots of our patterns. In sessions we slow down so that we can explore our habitual thinking and behaviours more fully.  We create simple mindfulness based experiments that evoke real experience that can lead to the discovery of unhelpful core beliefs. Once these limited beliefs become conscious, we are better placed to make better choices.

Hakomi is both gentle and profound. Sessions are bespoke and dependant on what is needed in the moment. They often include talking about experience, tracking what is going on in your body, getting curious about what you notice and exploring responses and reactions more deeply through a mindfulness based experiment.

Jenny offers 1:1 sessions for short or long term work and occasional small practice groups. She is trained, certified and registered with the Hakomi Education Network.

Mindfulness:  Mindfulness is about paying attention to our experience, learning to interrupt habitual stress patterns and enhance our capacity to connect with ourselves, each other and wider life more deeply.

It is the result of meditation which is taught through a combination of theory and practice. The teachings help us to build a practice and explore how to be more present with everyday life, with emotional distress, physical pain and how to apply to core elements of human life such as money, time and other people.

Jenny works with beginners and existing practitioners who would appreciate a refresher.

Jenny teaches mindfulness in a group or 1:1. Sessions can be booked as one off appointments or as a series of sessions. She is trained, certified and registered with Zenways Mindfulness & Meditation School

BenefitsHakomi and mindfulness equip us with tools and perspectives that can be immensely helpful on the lifelong journey of becoming more of who we are. They help us to slow down and create more space internally and externally so that experiences and feelings can be faced more fully and more honestly.

They are simultaneously gentle and deep and can bring about lasting change.
You might want support with something specific such as loss, change, menopause, anxiety, self esteem, isolation or depression. Or you might be experiencing something that feels less distinct and more pervasive such as overwhelm, disconnect, stress or confusion.

You are also welcome to get in touch if you simply have a sense that it would feel good to have some
support right now.

Jenny works both short and long term online and in person.
